Lugo suffers a setback
I’m going to try and put this as positively as possible. Our currently disabled shortstop, Mr. Julio Lugo, has suffered a massive setback in his rehabilitation. He did a few wind sprints in the outfield before last night’s game and ended up having to shut it down because he felt ’something.’

Lowell placed on the DL
The Red Sox have placed Mike Lowell on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique muscle. This will mark the second time this season that Lowell has spent some time on the DL.

Charlie Zink to start tomorrow
After much anticipation, the Red Sox have finally announced the starting pitcher for tomorrow’s game against Texas. Tim Wakefield will get placed on the disabled list and be replaced in the rotation by fellow knuckleballer Charlie Zink.
