Ellsbury steals home

After the Red Sox stole two wins from the Yankees (Game 1: 2R HR by Bay in the 9th to tie it, walkoff in the 11th by Youk. Game 2: Sox come back from being down 6-0), Jacoby Ellsbury wanted to take it a step further. Ellsbury decided to steal home on a straight steal .. and even though he stumbled a bit while running, he STILL made it by half a foot.

ellsbury-steals-homeHoly crap. This comes just two days after he scored from 2nd base on a wild pitch, and one day after he jacked his first HR of the season. Good stuff :D

    How awesome was that stolen home? Perhaps the only thing better was the blank stares on Posada’s and Pettitte’s faces…hahah!
