Standing 6 feet and 1 inch tall..
Wearing number 7..
.. is hurt again.
Yep, that’s right. Ladies and gentlemen, put on your ‘OMFG I CANT BELIEVE IT’ faces because JD Drew is still having terrible back stiffness. These are the same herniated disk issues that troubled him last season and led to his appearance in only 109 regular season games.
If it wasn’t for the 2007 ALCS grand-slam, the World Series victory, single-handedly carrying the Red Sox while Ortiz was hurt and Manny was a punk, and that nasty walk-off HR in the 2008 ALCS.. ah screw it. He’s got quite a few ‘Get Out of Jail Free Cards’, take your time JD.
