Friday Linkage – 01/30/09

It’s been a long time since I did a Friday Linkage post. I blame someone else.
Pacman Jonesin: Pujols may want Manny on his team now but wait until he sits out a big game and Pujols’ only protection in the lineup is Skip Schumaker.
Home Run Derby: Touche Cardinals fans.
The Bottom Line: Ouch. Kevin Millar verbally slaps the Orioles in their losing faces.
Baseball and The Boogie Down: Wow, it seems that the new Yankee tradition is to blast teammates in books.
Bugs and Cranks: Jason Varitek will put a huge dent into his “legacy” if he sits out this season because he doesn’t want to play for a measly five million dollars. He’d be better off retiring.
Fire Ned Colletti Now – “The difference between Kevin Brown and David Wells is that both make your life miserable, but David Wells meant to.” – Joe Torre. HAHAHAHA

The best one was Bernie Williams forgetting his kid at the ballpark TWICE, and asking Pettitte to bring him home for him.
Hahaha, awesome parenting.
