Paul Byrd’s got jokes

To all intents and purposes, Paul Byrd has retired; however, he’s said that he’ll stay in training shape throughout the season just in case he changes his mind in July. This gives an option to the Red Sox in case they have a starter go down and need somebody solid to fill up the rotation. In fact, Byrd said just that: “Keep me on your list, if you want a short, right-handed, balding guy that throws in the low 80s, I’m your guy.

Oh Paul Byrd, you’re such a comedian.
