It’s been fifteen incredibly long years of waiting for Jim Rice but the day has finally arrived. The announcement has been made and Jim Rice, one of the most feared hitters in baseball from ’75-’86, has been elected into the baseball Hall of Fame. He made it by the slimmest of margins (about 5 votes to be exact) and it took him his entire 15-year eligibility period, but he’s in and it’s very well-deserved.
Congrats Jim!
