Sox make offer to Takashi Saito

Now that all this Mark Teixeira nonsense is over with and Boston has signed their big slugger (Josh Bard), they’ve finally decided to take a look at the bullpen. The team has made an offer to ex-Dodger closer Takashi Saito.
Saito, who turns 39 next February, has had a few elbow problems recently; however, Red Sox doctors checked out all of his medical records and feel confident that he can pitch again this season. This would definitely be a good sign for the pen because when Saito is on his game, he is FILTHY.

Do you have a link to the article?
You can never have too much pitcching depth and Saito could be a steal!
Thanks
It was on one of Nick Cafardo’s most recent posts on the Globe. I don’t have a link with me right now but I’ll try to grab one for you when I get home. The article also mentioned that the Red Sox are going to be attending a workout by Mark Mulder.
