Red Sox to unveil new logo on Dec. 11th

I hope to god this is a big joke BUT the entire Internetz is buzzing over the idea of Boston changing their logo and unveiling a new third jersey on Thursday, December the 11th. The rumor came from the Boston Herald (and we all know how much confidence we put in what they say.)

I’ve got my fingers crossed that they don’t change the logo. This is years and years of history that they’re thinking about messing with. Also, are they really stupid enough to change it 2 weeks before Christmas? Imagine the look on the faces of hundreds and thousands of children when they open their presents only to see merchandise with an irrelevant logo on it. Not only that but I’m going to look like an idiot when I wear my bright red third-color Sox jersey.

Don’t you dare.
