… I wish this was an April Fool’s joke. Carl Pavano’s agent, Tom O’Connell, has told reporters that the Boston Red Sox are one of the teams interested in his client’s services.
2005: NYY – 100.0 IP, 4.77 ERA – $9 mil.
2006: NYY – 0.0 IP – $8 mil.
2007: NYY – 11.3 IP, 4.76 ERA – $10 mil.
2008: NYY – 34.3 IP, 5.77 ERA – $11 mil.
