Tazawa to sign with Boston this week

It’s not 100% official yet but Junichi Tazawa is going to sign with the Red Sox sometime this week.
His deal is going to be 3 million over 3 years. Once those are up, he is still under contract with Boston for another 3 years on an arbitration based salary (completing the mandatory 6 season service time for rookies.)
It’s also worth noting that this is a major league contract, which means he is going to be on the 40-man roster. He’ll start his career in the minors (possibly Pawtucket but probably Portland) and try to work his way up.
