Apparently there was a World Series going on for the past week or so, although you wouldn’t know it by FOX’s television ratings. One of the teams in this so-called “World Series” is the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies have a pitcher on their roster named Brett Myers. Do you remember Brett Myers? He was the guy that beat his wife a few years back in Boston. Not ringing any bells? He pulled her by her hair down the street, and kicked her repeatedly. Yeah, that guy.
Mr. Myers did an interview with the USA Today in which he was quoted as saying, “If Boston had beat Tampa, I would have gone to (manager) Charlie (Manuel) and told him, ‘I don’t want to pitch in Boston,’ I don’t ever want to pitch in Boston again.”
What a joke.. he’s manly enough to beat his wife but doesn’t have the balls to pitch in Boston? Boston, where the people are only mean to him because he’s a WIFE BEATER? I mean, if you drag a woman (that is 120 pounds lighter than you) down a city street by her hair.. what do you expect?
