The ALCS gauntlet has been thrown down

One of my favorite parts of watching the playoffs every year is the wager made between mayors of the cities playing. Tampa Bay’s mayor Rick Baker and Boston’s mayor Thomas Menino have officially decided on the parameters of their bet for the 2008 ALCS and I would love to be on the winning side of either one of these delicious dinners. Check it out:

Tampa Bay put up a Florida beach picnic with key lime pie and fresh-squeezed Florida orange juice.

Boston put up a New England style lobster bake with clam chowder, corn on the cob, and Boston cream pie.

For some reason I’m hungry all of a sudden..
