Since I was way off on my regular season predictions, I’m trying to find a way to redeem myself. What better way to do so than by looking like an idiot by guessing incorrectly on every postseason series? Here goes..

ALDS
Red Sox over Angels in 4 games
Rays over White Sox in 3 games

NLDS
Cubs over Dodgers in 5 games
Phillies over Brewers in 4 games

ALCS
Red Sox over Rays in 7 games

NLCS
Cubs over Phillies in 5 games

WS
Red Sox over Cubs in 6 games

After yesterday’s Cubs v Dodgers game… I am very concerned that we will yet agains miss out on a Cubvs v Sox World Series…

The Dodgers are hot and they have the eye of the Tiger right now…

I also think that if the Sox and Rays have to battle through 7 games, the winner of the series is gonna be a sitting duck for the the NL champ…

But you could have said that about the 2004 Sox after the Yankees series… and look how that worked out.

Bottom Line Prediction: Sox over Dodgers in 6.

I’m really hoping its not Dodgers/Sox in the World Series. Not for any huge reason but because I don’t want to listen to the stupid subplots.

Nomar used to be on the Sox, blah blah.
Manny and his drama, blah blah.
Derek Lowe wasn’t even offered a contract, blah blah.

Honestly there is no fear in my head of us losing to any NL team in a 7 game series. TB is the biggest threat imo.
