Last night’s game

During last night’s game, the Red Sox had a 10-0 lead in the 1st inning so I did something that I don’t usually do.. I changed the channel. I wanted to catch some of the Olympics and watch Michael Phelps dominate EVERYONE. Not more than 15 minutes later, I switched back to see the score was 12-10 with the Rangers holding the lead. I spent the next 3 hours flipping back and forth between one of the weirdest baseball games I’ve ever seen and a bunch of Olympic events.

Final Score: 19-17, Boston wins (tied the all-time record for most runs in a game)

Length of the Game: Three hours and 58 minutes

Boston Hits: 17 / Texas Hits: 20
Total Hits: 37

Boston Errors: 2 / Texas Errors: 2
Total Errors: 4

Boston Walks: 10 / Texas Walks: 3
Total Walks: 13

Boston HR: David Ortiz (2), Kevin Youkilis (2)
Texas HR: Kinsler

Honestly, this game was just flat-out crazy. The pitching was horrible (Sox gave up 15 earned runs) and the defense wasn’t any better. The good thing is that Boston pulled out a win and this game is now behind us.
