Boston Red Sox minor league pitcher Victor De La Cruz has been suspended 50 games after testing positive for Stanozolol. Stanozolol is an anabolic steroid and is banned by Major League Baseball.
De La Cruz was playing in the Dominican summer league. There have been a HUGE portion of minor league players suspended that are currently participating in that league but this was the first member of the Red Sox.
