It’s been reported that Manny Ramirez has officially been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in a three-way blockbuster trade.
Pittsburgh Pirates: Bryan Morris (from LAD), Andy LaRoche (from LAD), Brandon Moss (from BOS), Craig Hansen (from BOS)
Boston Red Sox: Jason Bay (from PIT)
Los Angeles Dodgers: Manny Ramirez (from BOS)
We’ll give more details and some analysis on the trade as soon as we get a chance.

Unbelievable. The Red Sox just got SO robbed.
You mean a Hall of Famer, a potential future .300 hitting outfielder and a guy that can hit 98 on the radar gun for an older LF isn’t a good trade?!
The Sox must have gotten tired of Manny, everyone else wants another world seires they arent worried about their contract. Besides, Jason Bay hits about the same average as Manny. Bay has more homers than Manny. I just wanna see another world seires in Boston. Anyways Hanson, and Moss weren’t doing much anyway. Manny will be much better off in LA. The thing that sucks is no more dynamic duo ya no.
dont flame me
Haha, I’m not gonna flame you. An opinion is an opinion.
They felt like they couldn’t fix Hansen and trading Moss made sense too. Moss would be stuck behind Manny (or Bay), Ellsbury, and Drew in the outfield. He’ll be an excellent player but there is just nowhere to put him in Boston.
Also Boston is paying the remaining 7 mil of Manny’s contract.
I want Manny
Yeah, a lot of people do. Unfortunately he didn’t want us :\
