Jacoby Ellsbury has ‘owater’, David Ortiz has ‘Vitamin Water’, and now Kevin Youkilis has ‘Slump Buster.’
Youk has joined his teammates by becoming the latest athlete to endorse a drink. The only difference is that rather than promote some gross quasi-water, ‘Slump Buster’ is an energy drink designed to get you through the day or “bust a slump.”
I’ve just got one question: if Youkilis has this stuff on hand, why hasn’t he shared it with Jason Varitek yet?
It’s due to hit shelves around New England later this year.
I don’t know about you guys but my daily commute is a killer so put me down for a whole case.
