Coco Crisp should be an MMA fighter

So for those of you that aren’t aware of what happened:

Coco Crisp tried to steal second base in last night’s game and Jason Bartlett put his entire knee in front of the bag; this is a big no-no in baseball as it can easily injure someone that is sliding into the base. Coco was safe but hurt his thumb on the play when he jammed it into Bartlett’s knee.

Later in the game Coco found himself on first base again, but this time when he went to steal second, he sent a forearm into Akinori Iwamura who was covering the bag.

Then today Coco was pegged with a pitch by James Shields on his first trip to the plate. Crisp wasn’t a fan so he charged the mound. Shields took a HUGE swing at him while CC did a matrix-esque dodge and came back with a right hook. He then got piled on and sucker punched to death but it was still pretty impressive.

Coco, Shields, and always sucker-punching Jonny Gomes (seriously though, he sucker punches in EVERY brawl Tampa Bay has ever gotten in, am I right?) all got tossed from the game.
