The big man continues to impress

Yes, he’s only pitched two games. Yes, they were against two of the worst offensive teams in the league. That doesn’t make what Bartolo Colon has done any less impressive. He’s taking the right steps in resurrecting his big league career.
Last night was just another move down that road as big Bartolo went 7 innings and only gave up 1 run on 5 hits while recording 4 strikeouts and walking 1 batter. That gives him a total of 12 innings for the year thus far. Hitters are hitting .244 off him and he’s walked 3 guys and struck out 8.
The numbers aren’t eye popping but he definitely seems to be on the right path.
