Bartolo Colon to start Wednesday

Theo and company have thrown me off again.
First I was dead-set on the idea of Colon starting sometime this week. Then the Boston Herald pointed out that with only 64 pitches in his last outing, he’ll need another game before he’s ready. Now I get told by everyone and their mother that he’s going to start on Wednesday.
I guess that’s what I get for listening to the Herald. I figured I could trust them, it’s not like John Tomase wrote the article. My bad, it won’t happen again.
Anyway, Colon is going to start for the Sox on Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals. Mr. Large-and-in-Charge was pretty nasty in his last minor league start (link) so hopefully we’ll see whether he is really the bargain we all thought he could be.
This makes the rotation for the next 3 games look like this:
Tonight: Jon Lester
Tomorrow: Justin Masterson
Wednesday: Bartolo Colon
