Sox still looking to trade Tavarez?

Boston has been in talks with the Colorado Rockies since last week over a trade involving Julian Tavarez. Tavarez is 0-1 with a disappointing 6.39 ERA thus far this season. Francona has struggled to find chances to get Julian into games this year and that looks to be a major reason that he might be on his way out of town.

No word yet as to who the Sox are looking to get in return.

Update: According to Troy E. Renck of the Denver Post, trade talks involving Tavarez are officially dead (link) because the Sox wanted some minor league talent in return.
