R.I.P. John Marzano

Ex-Red Sox backup catcher John Marzano passed away yesterday in his South Philly home. The police were called and found him at the bottom of a set of stairs. It isn’t known yet whether his death was caused by the fall down the stairs or if he had a heart attack and THEN fell down the stairs.

John, only 45 years old, left behind a wife as well as two daughters AND two grandchildren. He’ll be missed by everyone and my deepest sympathies go out to his friends and family.
