Dustin Pedroia jams his shoulder

More injury news :\ Pedroia jammed his shoulder in the top of the 9th while making a game saving diving stop. The stop allowed the Sox to mount a walk-off win in the bottom of the 9th.

JD Drew leaves the game

After running out a ground ball to first in the fourth inning, JD Drew left the game with an injury. He was replaced with Brandon Moss.
No word yet as to what happened or how bad it is.
Word out of the clubhouse is that he tweaked his quad.

Mike Lowell activated from the DL

Lowell was activated from the DL earlier today. Unfortunately right-hander Bryan Corey was the guy that had to head home. He was designated for assignment for the second time this month.

Mike Lowell expected back tomorrow

Lowell has completed his 3-day rehab stint in Triple-A Pawtucket and is expected to play tomorrow against the Blue Jays.  He went a combined 3-for-13 with 3 RBIs for the PawSox.  Mikey says that he feels 100 percent and is ready to get back to business.

David Ortiz has a sinus infection

Apparently they didn’t do a very good job at disinfecting the clubhouse because David Ortiz admitted last night that he’s coming down with a sinus infection.
